Nelson Chuah is a Registered Financial Planner practitioner (RFP). He is affiliated with Malaysia Financial Planning Council (MFPC), and Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FiMM). He is a Group Sales Manager and Life Planning Advisor (LPA) of Great Eastern Life Assurance and he is also a Agency Manager with Unit Trust Consultant & PRS license from CIMB Wealth Advisor Sdn Bhd.
He graduated from Hawaii Pacific University, USA with honours degree in Bachelor of Science. He worked at prominent multi-national company as management staff from 1997 – 2003. He was invited to be one of the distinguished speakers at FINEX (Financial Expo) organized by Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) to share about Retirement Planning topic and also speaker at PFPW (Penang Financial Planning Week), organized by Money Compass Magazine to share about Financial Planning topic back in 2008. In 2007, he was interviewed live on AiFM radio station regarding Financial Planning; while in 2011, he was being interviewed by Further Study Intelligence Magazine for his insight in career development for young generations. He was often being invited to be guest speaker for local tertiary institutions such as UUM, USM, KDU and Disted Collage and Multi National Company such as Motorola and Cisco to share about financial planning topics.
He has vast experiences in leading his team with innovative strategies and fun approaches to accomplish each business milestone. His specialties are in training and leadership development. He had successfully developed few training programs to assist the new entrepreneurs to kick off their business in the financial planning career, they are namely Angel Training, Smart Rising Star and etc. Moreover, he often empowered and delegated his leaders to plan for business expansion and aiming to accomplish the next height of achievement with team synergy and “We Are All One” spirit. His belief is “Success is not by accident. It happens because people plan carefully and they lay the necessary groundwork to get the right result in the end”. As such, he always think and plan ahead as visionary leader to provide direction for team growth.
